What a season it has been! Tornados have wreaked havoc in my neck of the woods. Thankful for God’s mercy in there only being five casualties, even in light of all the destruction.

As I am praying for the people suffering loss, I have also been blessed by seeing spring through the eyes of the children I teach.

Planting seeds, watering plants, going to the zoo, and looking at baby animals are some of the events the kids and I are looking forward to during the last week of May!

Just this past week, we made bee cookies, explored animal life cycles, built nests, took model animals out of “hibernation”, and flew a bird and butterfly back “north”, among other things.

Joy and sorrow entwined…that seems to be the theme of this season. Blessings to you!
